Walter AG has been awarded the "Preferred Supplier" certificate by Robert Bosch GmbH for the fourth time, making it clear that this long-standing partnership is set to continue.
Walter and Bosch have worked in partnership for many years, collaborating closely on a global scale. With sights on digital transformation and Industry 4.0 in particular, partnerships based on tight-knit networks and innovation are proving to be key to business success. Bosch is hugely satisfied with Walter's signature all-in-one solutions, which it tailors to suit its customers' specific requirements. With recent innovations in cutting tool development and the new Technology Center, Walter is now in an even better position to provide Bosch with the support it needs to increase the productivity of its processes, lengthen tool lives, and, as a result, reduce costs. The already effective and close communication has been improved upon further, with contacts at Walter being assigned to just a select few customers. Global Account Manager Helmut Depner is the designated contact at Walter AG for Bosch. This concept of Engineering Kompetenz has already been brought to life in the new Technology Center, where both partners performed preliminary tests to drive new collaborative developments forward.
