Distributor pipe

Through the continuous pumping of fuel into a central pressure pipe, an extremely high pressure of up to 2,500 bar is produced. This common distributor pipe (known as "common rail") acts as a reservoir for all injectors (injection valves). The constantly rising system pressures make it necessary to use materials with increasingly high levels of tensile strength.

Regardless of whether we are looking at distributor pipes made of steel for diesel systems or made of stainless material for gasoline direct injection, Walter, with its competence brands Walter Valenite, Walter Titex, Walter Prototyp and Walter Multiply, provides the very latest in tool technology and the necessary service modules for the efficient series production of these components.
